Doing something awesome to bring Him glory
We are spreading the Word of Christ by handing out small packaged lunches directly to
our community. Areas are selected by resources within local school systems and
used to target children and families who need lunches the most. We do not go
door to door or deliver directly to specific families only. Our goal by the end of
the summer is to roll our efforts into Hungry at Home by the beginning of the school year.
We Collect Together
We collect non-perishable items during our normal weekly grocery shopping trips. These items can be delivered or brought with you when you come to pack.
We Pack Together
We meet together at scheduled times and locations with our families to fill the lunch bags. We write a small, Christ-filled message of love on the outside of the bags.
We Deliver Together
We come together in a central location and carpool to areas predetermined to be in need in our community.

What We Need
Here are the non-perishable items we are currently collecting: Bottled water, protein items (Vienna sausages, Spaghetti O's, Ravioli's pop-top cans), and snack items (pudding, applesauce, packaged crackers).

Teaching Our Children
This is a great opportunity to teach our children about serving others. School-aged children can be involved in every stage of the process.
